This time I cannot do that alone!
Besides the pandemic, the cruel war took the lives of so many young people distorting the bodies and the existence of more others, but more than that creating an atmosphere of uncertainty and insecurity in the lives of many families.
Family Care Foundation has chosen a small center – a borderline village Hartashen close to Goris, with an objective to work together to alleviate the wounds and give a small hope, and, with time to help to regain the serenity of some families of Artsakh, creating by time better life conditions for all the inhabitants of Hartashen with the collaboration with local authorities.
Our aim is to renovate a former Cultural House as a Center for giving trainings and skills to women and young people, creating conditions of selecting their professional path so as to secure a better future.
The project will start the soonest possible the activities in the sphere of handicraft beginning theoretical-practical classes in the field of artistic ceramics in temporary premises. Family Care Foundation will assure immediately the necessary means to start the activities and will advance the needed sum for initial current expenses.
The cost for Renovation of the Center, the purchase of means and furnishings, the costs of the activities for the first year will be approx. 640 000 USD. The Center should work regularly from the 1st of May of 2022. After a year the Center should auto maintain and provide gradually the sustainability of other similar activities.
